Nelio Alfano Moura completed his master's degree in Physical Education from the Methodist University of Piracicaba - Instituto Educacional Piracicabano in 2006. He is currently a Jumps and Hurdles coach at Esporte Clube Pinheiros, Athletics Coordinator at the São Paulo State Government's Center of Sports Excellence and Horizontal Jumping Consultant to the Chinese Athletics Association. He published more than 20 articles in specialized journals and 7 papers in the annals of events. He has 1 book and 2 book chapters published. In his professional activities, he interacted with 23 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works. In his Lattes curriculum, the most frequent terms in the context of scientific production are: Athletics, Sports Training, Triple Jump, Muscle Strength, Biomechanics, Long Jump, Plyometrics and Human Performance. He has been coach of National athletics teams since 1990, with emphasis on five participations in the Olympic Games; five in Pan American Games and 19 World Championships.
