Doctorate Student at Instituto de Relações Internacionais - IRI/USP, in the research field of Governing Climate Change (advisor Prof. Dr. João Paulo Cândia Veiga), Master's at PROCAM/USP in 2000 (advisor Prof. Dra. Marta Dora Gostein) and Bachelor's in Architecture & Urban Planning at FAUUSP (1992), Mrs. Catunda has more than 20 years of experience in environmental and social impact assessments and licencing processes for several industrial sectors such as mining, Oil&Gas, ports, roads, power plants, pulp&paper etc. in Brazil, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mozambique and Chile. As leader auditor of several social and environmental assessments for financing institutions, she has very good knowledge of environmental legal requirements and international guidelines, such as Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards and WBG and IDB guidelines. Mrs. Catunda was the Manager of EIA Technical Department of ERM Brazil from 2000 to 2008 and Coordinator of Environmental Impact Studies at CH2M HILL from 2010 to March 2012.
