Wolodymir Boruszewski

BSc in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircrafts, Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, 1974, MSc in Meteorology, Numerical weather forecasting, Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais, 1978, DSc in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, Structures and Mechanics of Solids, Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, 1989. As a Technological Development Engineer in INPE, between 1975 and 1996, he performed functions in Research and Development in the context of meteorological satellites orbit prediction and in structural and thermal design and construction of the first Brazilian satellites. From 2007 to 2013 worked in Research and Development of Turbine Structures in the companies Vale Soluções em Energia and Sygma Engenharia e Tecnologia. In the technological segment he has relevant experience in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering in the areas of structural analysis, finite elements, structural reliability, fatigue and life analysis and fluid-structure interaction, as well as project management. On the academic context, besides his more than 40 years experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, in Exact Sciences Area, especially Engineering, Mathematics and Physics, he also worked as Laboratories Coordinator and Departments Head.
