Received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2006 with a Doctorate internship at the University of Oxford (2005). He completed postdoctoral researches at the Arizona State University (USA) during 20062007 and at the University of São Paulo during 20072008, He is graduated in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2001), Currently he is Full Professor of Chemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia, Brazil. He is Associate Editor of Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society and belong to Advisory Board of Microchimica Acta. He was Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Chemistry, Director of the Division of Electrochemistry and Electroanalysis of the Brazilian Chemical Society and has participated in the organizer comittee of Pint of Science (Uberlandia). He developed in collaboration with DropSens company (Spain) a portable analytical system called "BIASPE cell" (http://www.dropsens.com/en/accesories_pag.html). From his publications, 18 were selected as feature article (cover). He has expertise in Analytical Chemistry and his current research interests focus on Electroanalysis, Electrochemical sensors, Nanomaterials, forensic chemistry, graphene and novel materials for 3D printing.
