Emphasis on: Energy Sources (Nuclear and Renewable), Power Electronics, Additive Manufacturing, Microcontrollers, Sensors, Robotics and Automation. Lines of research: robotics, microcontrolled control systems, artificial intelligence techniques, learning and teaching techniques using robotics (children in high school and young adults in graduation), innovation technologies in startups and entrepreneurship, industrial maintenance, mechanical projects, engineering systems & requirements, applied engineering in sensors and remote monitoring, wearable electronic devices, rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing engineering (3D printing), renewable energy sources (Photovoltaic and Wind) and controlled thermonuclear fusion (Tokamak).
