Augusto Camara Neiva

Graduation (1976), MSc (1985) and PhD (1993) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Polythecnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP). Lecturer in the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering of the Polytechnic School of USP. Was Scientific Coordinator of the Solidary Economy Nucleous (NESOL) of USP. Appraiser of courses and institutions of the Brazilian National System of Evaluation of the High Education (INEP-SINAES). Expert on phase diagrams, magnetic materials,powder sinterization, electrochemistry, microstructural characterization, artificial patinas, X ray fluorescence spectroscopy and cultural heritage characterization. Previous R/D experience: COSIPA Steelplant (Cubatão), IPEN (Energy and Nuclear Research Institute - São Paulo) and Physics Institute of USP. Previous administrative experience: Industrial Manager of Mextra Extractive Metallurgy (Diadema), lecturer in the Industrial Engineering Faculty (FEI - São Bernardo) and head of the Engineering Course of the Metropolitan University of Santos (UNIMES - Santos).
