Assistent Professor at the Federal University of Paraiba since 2022 and permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Social Work (PPGSS/UFPB) since 2025. He holds a bachelor's degree (2002), master's degree (2005), and doctorate (2010) in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a period of research as a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago. He conducted postdoctoral research (PNPD-CAPES) in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Brasília (UnB) between 2018 and 2021. He works mainly in the areas of Ethics and Political Philosophy, with an emphasis on the following authors and themes: Bernard Mandeville, Thomas Hobbes, Leo Strauss, conservative thought and criticism of liberal democracy, Carl Schmitt, and political decisionism. He is also a translator and researcher. He was a professor of Critical Thinking and Ethics at Insper (20112014) and a substitute professor at the University of Brasília (UnB) in 2016.
