I'm Ana Paula Amorim, mother, teacher, Psychobiologist specializing in Women's Health. You know that weird one from when you were little? It is me.I've always been curious about energies, alternative healing, the power of plants, how the brain works, meditation and many other things. As a child, I wanted to be a scientist and discover cures for people.I graduated as a technician in Chemistry and Biology, somehow this would lead me to work in Science. The study of medicinal plants accompanied me from the technical course to my Master's degree in Psychobiology.I left work in the laboratories, to dedicate myself to a little person that my body generated, managed, was cut for birth and breastfed. The biggest change in my life challenged me to make better choices. How could I be a good mother, without looking at my childhood, at my shadows, at what I didn't want in my mothering? To build what I believed in, I had to deconstruct patterns, bonds, beliefs, concepts, ancestral loyalties, heal traumas and rebuild myself.I chose to make a career transition (in fact it wasn't planned at all, or rather, the Creator had other plans for me and it happened). Now as a Yoga teacher, my schedules were flexible and I had the opportunity to participate almost entirely in my son's entire evolution, from the womb until today, 14 years later, I can't imagine it happening any other way. I didn't want to leave for work at 6 am and get home at 6 pm, leave my son at school at 6 months old and lose everything I've experienced. It was a challenging choice to leave the corporate world, especially financially, but I don't regret it. My students liked talking to me, I have something that makes people feel safe and confident to vent. To improve my knowledge and be able to help more people, I specialized in Integrative Practices: Reiki, Phytotherapy, Psychoaromatherapy, Florals, Thetahealing, Bioenergies, Circular dance, Cooperative games, Meditation, Mindfulness, Doula, Shantala, Yoga for pregnant women and children and others. I have studied a lot about Functional Nutrition, microbiota, deworming and so, new action protocols are emerging to help my service. I work with women; welcoming, listening, facilitating self-care and self-healing of internal wounds, coming from the pressure that society imposes on women, from self-imposed demands as a woman and mother, from abuse suffered, from veiled violence, from ancestral agreements and beliefs, from the child wound. Every time I am among women, in therapeutic sessions and experiences, I recognize myself, I also heal, I return to being who I am, without filter, without judgement. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
