Graduated in Agronomy from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (1997), with a Masters in Agronomy Production Systems from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2001, FAPESP scholarship) and a PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding from the Federal University of Goiás (2004, CAPES scholarship). Additionally, I hold a Postgraduate degree in Environmental Management from UFSCAR-Rio Claro and a Postdoctoral degree from the University of Florida (2016, Embrapa scholarship). I am a researcher at Embrapa Florestas, focusing on the conservation and genetic improvement of forest resources, and I serve as a professor in the postgraduate course in Agronomy (Production Systems) at São Paulo State University, Ilha Solteira Campus.
