BS in Physics at the University of São Paulo (1986), Master in Physics at the University of São Paulo (1989) and PhD in Physics at the University of São Paulo (1994). Held master's and doctorate in nuclear structure studies using techniques of gamma-ray spectroscopy. Worked at the Accelerator Laboratory, University of Munich (Germany) between 1989 and 1992, where he conducted the experimental part of his doctoral work. He is currently a researcher and professor at the Institute of Nuclear and Energy Research, supervisor at the University of São Paulo, in the concentration area of Nuclear Technology. He has experience in physics, with emphasis on experimental methods and instrumentation for nuclear physics. Working on the following subjects: simulations with Monte Carlo Method, instrumentation applied to nuclear medicine, dosimetry, nuclear structure, gamma and X-ray spectroscopy, neutron detection. Collaborations in the works related to hyperfine interactions (perturbed angular correlation), neutron physics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
