Rafael Bertolini Frigori

Associate Professor IV at the Federal Technological University of Paraná in Toledo (UTFPR). Bachelor's degree in Theoretical-Experimental Physics (2002) and Master's degree in Basic Physics from the São Carlos Institute of Physics at USP (2005), PhD (2010) and post-Doctorate (2017) in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology, from the Department of Physics from FFCLRP / USP. I work in Statistical Mechanics, Computational Physics and the Development of Monte Carlo and Molecular Dynamics algorithms for high-performance simulations of proteins. These techniques are used to investigate the molecular nature of Proteopathies, such as Alzheimer's disease, Type II Diabetes and their interconnections, aiming at the "in silico" development of biotechnological therapeutic inhibitors.
