Nancy Huang

She holds a degree in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1997). She completed a Medical Residency in Clinical Neurology at the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo Medical School (FMUSP) from 1998 to 2001. She earned a Masters degree in Neurology from the University of São Paulo in 2002, evaluating the accuracy of 14-3-3 protein in CSF in patients with Rapidly Progressive Dementia. She completed her Ph.D. in Medicine, also at FMUSP, in 2005, studying mitochondrial DNA in GBMs. She worked for over seven years in the pharmaceutical industry, holding roles as a medical manager and in pharmacovigilance. Since 2016, she has been a practitioner of Mindfulness and Compassion, completing her teacher training in 2021. She is now an instructor of mindfulness-based interventions for health promotion, pain management, and chronic diseases (MBPM), as well as for chronic stress (MBSR), certified by Respira Vida Breathworks. She works as a neurologist and lifestyle medicine physician with international certification from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine and the Brazilian College of Lifestyle Medicine (CBMEV). She served as director of CBMEV (20232024 management) and is the editor-in-chief of CBMEVs scientific journal, the *Brazilian Journal of Lifestyle Medicine*. In the field of education, since 2018, she has been teaching at the Nove de Julho University Medical School (Uninove), covering subjects such as Morphofunctional Bases of the Nervous System, Neurological Propedeutics, and Clinical Neurology. She has always cherished patient care and clinical practice, with 27 years of healthcare experience.
