Valéria Vernaschi Lima

Graduated in Medicine from Faculdade de Medicina de Marília (1984), Masters in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1994) and in Education for Health Professionals from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2001), PhD in Public Health from the University of São Paulo Paulo (2000) and post-doctorate at the National School of Public Health - Fiocruz (2005). She is currently a senior associate professor at the Department of Medicine and the Master's in Clinical Management at the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar. Academic manager of the UniMAX Medicine Course and professor of Medicine at UniFAJ. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Medicine, with an emphasis on Education of Medical Health Professionals, working mainly on the following topics: active teaching-learning methodologies, problem-based learning, curriculum organization, competency-oriented curriculum, student evaluation, program evaluation health and education, clinic management and continuing education of health professionals.
