Fabio is a full professor at the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Brazil. He got his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Lancaster, UK (2001), and his master's, also in Computer Science, from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, in 1995. His current research interests are in the area of Distributed Systems, with contributions in the following subjects areas: middleware platforms, reflective middleware, model-driven engineering of middleware, cloud computing, and ubiquitous computing.
