Bachelor's at Engenharia Mecânica from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (1993), master's at Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (1996) and doctorate at Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001). I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1993), a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1996), and a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2001). I'm currently an associate professor at the State University of Maringá and co-leads the Study Group on Materials and Thermal Machines (GEMMAT), which he founded. In this group, I have developed works related to Materials Science and Engineering, with an emphasis on i-Caloric Materials, focusing mainly on the following topics: magnetocaloric effect, mechanocaloric effect, and development of devices for carbon-free energy generation. I have already published about 30 scientific articles in national/international journals and filed 6 patents, one of them with the patent granted in 2024 and currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses (rating 3) in Mechanical Engineering at UEM (PR).
