Carlos Mergulhao Junior

Graduated in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1990), Master in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1993) and PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (1997). I am currently a permanent and full professor based in the Physics Department of Ji-Paraná (DEFIJI) at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR). I have experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Theoretical Physics and in the area of #8203;#8203;Physics Teaching aimed at teacher training, working mainly on the following theme: use of new methodologies in the teaching of Physics. I have worked as a university professor since 2000. I belong to the staff as a university professor at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) since 2002. Currently, in addition to activities as a teacher and researcher, I am coordinator of the course of a professional master's degree in physics teaching at the Ji-Paraná Pole that is part of the MNPEF program (National Professional Master's in Physics Teaching) approved by CAPES in 2013.
