Physiotherapist (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho-2003), MSc (CNPq scholarship) in Public Health (Epidemiology department from University of São Paulo-2006) and Ph.D. (FAPESP scholarship)with a research time (CNPq scholarship) at the Ludwig-Maximilian Universität, in Munich, Germany, at the ICF-Branch Research. With experience in Public Health, with an emphasis on Public Health, working mainly on the following topics: health of people with disabilities, health surveys and analysis of population databases. He was an adjunct professor of Epidemiology, Collective Health and Preventive Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro-UFTM. He is currently a professor of the physiotherapy course at the Federal University of Ceará - UFC, where he works with the disciplines of gerontology and internship II, supervises master's degree in the Graduate Program in Physiotherapy and Functioning and a master's and doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Public Health, all for UFC. He has conducted research on functioning, with an approach based on the International Classification of Disability, Functioning and Health-ICF or the World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule-WHODAS in collaborative projects with national and international researchers.
