Magnolia Costa Santos

PhD (1997), MA (1992), Graduation (1986), BA (1986), and College Degree (1985) in Philosophy, São Paulo University. Art history and art criticism lecturer at MAM the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo (since 2001), specializing in contemporary art related to social-political action. She has 20 years of experience in higher education, teaching at major art institutions in São Paulo. Served as Head of Institutional Affairs at the MAM (2010-2018). As MAM?s representative, she is charge of PR actions, connecting MAM with cultural institutions in Brazil and abroad. She currently researches social impact of museums? collections in Southern populations. She is also experienced in the publishing sector (editor-at-large). She coordinated MAM?s Research and Publication Department (2008-2010). Served as editor, proofreader, and book counselor in major publishing companies (1997-2004).
