Paulo Dominguez Pastorelo holds a Bachelor?s degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of São Paulo?s School of Architecture and Urban Planning (FAU/USP). He also obtained Masters degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle in France. His career as a documentary filmmaker started in 2005 with the film ?Vale o homem seus pertences? (2005). Co-produced by Brazilian TV channel, STV Rede SescSenac de Televisão, the film was a result of his undergraduate research project from 2000 to 2002 which was awarded a grant by the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP). In 2007 he co-directed the award-winning "Overpass 3.5" ("Best Film" at the 2007 International Documentary Film Festival It's All True) and, in 2013, he released on theatres his second feature documentary "Tokiori - Creases of Time ", a co-production Brazil, France and Japan. In 2017 he released the documentary "Live Cinema!" which records the daily life of a workshop "Le Cinéma, cent ans de jeunesse" (CCAJ) with students of the 5th grade of Escola Carlitos in São Paulo. CCAJ is an international project film focus on cinema transmission at school, created and coordinated by the French Cinematheque since 1995. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
