Flavio Tonidandel

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1996) and a master's and doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Poli-USP (1999 and 2003). He is currently a full-time professor at the FEI University Center. He has experience in #8203;#8203;Computing and Electrical Engineering, emphasizing Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. Since 2003, he has participated in and coordinated the ROBOFEI Robotics research group. He coordinated the FEI Computer Science course for 13 years (1996-2019) and was Vice-Rector of Extension and Community Activities at the same institution (2020-2023). He was the National Coordinator of the OBR Brazilian Robotics Olympiad in 2013 and 2014 and coordinated the Special Robotics Commission (CER) of the Brazilian Computing Society between 2010 and 2014; He was Co-General Chair of RoboCup 2014 in Brazil; Member of the IEEE-RAS Latin American Robotics Committee; Trustee Member (2018-2021) and Vice President (2022-2023) of RoboCup Federation. Former president and current Vice President of Communications at RoboCup Brasil. Organized and coordinated several symposiums, congresses, and scientific robotics competitions nationwide. His main interests are in the following areas: Action Planning, Case-Based Reasoning, Intelligent Home Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Human-Robot Interaction, and Intelligent and Autonomous Mobile Robots.
