graduate at Ciências Biológicas from Universidade de São Paulo (1999), master's at Biodiversidade Vegetal e Meio Ambiente from Instituto de Botânica (2005) and ph.d. at Agronomy from Universidade de São Paulo (2009). Has experience in Microbiology, focusing on Biology and Fisiology of the Microorganisms, acting on the following subjects: Cyanobacteria, taxonomy, culture / isolation, Anabaena / Microcystis and molecular biology (phylogenetic analyses: 16S rRNA, rpoC1, rbcL and tufA sequencing).
