I am graduated in INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (1988), with Master Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering (UNICAMP, 1995) and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering (UNICAMP, 1998), PhD-made by the sandwich program from CAPES, at the Pisa University, in Italy. I have experience in the field of Chemistry with an emphasis on formulations of micro and nanoparticles, special for biomedical applications. With post-docs made at the UNICAMP and at the UNIPI, I am currently associate researcher of the Dipartimento di Chimica e Chimica Industriale (Pisa, Italy) and I work in European Projects and in industrial projects of confidential interests. I have active collaboration with researchers at UNICAMP, specifically with Prof. Fernando Galembeck from Chemistry Institute and with Prof. Li Li Min from the Department of Neurology of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. These collaborations foresee the development of metal nanoparticles for application in the High Field Clinical Magnetic Resonance and labeling of stem cells. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
