I have a Civil Engineering degree from the Engineering School of São Carlos USP (1994), a Bachelor of Music in Performance, major in Piano, from the School of Arts and Communications USP (1999), Master (2008) and Ph.D. (2016) in Arts at the same school. My main subject of interest is the writing of music history, with particular concentration on works of Brazilian music history published in Brazil from 1908 to 1942. My approach of the subject Music History is built on an interdisciplinary perspective. I also investigate the relations between literature and music, from more structural aspects such as rhythm and form, until issues related to musical practice and Brazilian history. I cover themes such as: Brazilian music, Brazilian musical nationalism, cultural history, nationalism, musical aesthetics, Brazilian musical historiography and literature (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
