Adriano Pereira de Castro

Graduation in Agronomy at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA-1999), Master´s in Genetics and Plant Breeding at the University of São Paulo (ESALQ / USP-2002), PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding at the University of São Paulo (ESALQ / USP-2005) and Post-Doctorate at the Centre de Coopération Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (CIRAD/France-2021). Currently researcher at Embrapa. Has experience in the field of Agronomy, with an emphasis on Classical Plant Breeding with the use of biotechnology techniques, acting mainly on the following themes: rice crop improvement, use of biotechnological tools in plant breeding, tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses.
