Claus de Castro Aranha

Graduated in Computer Sciences at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2001). Obtained his master degree from the same university (2005). Obtained a master degree and a PhD at the graduate schools of Frontier Informatics, University of Tokyo (2007 and 2010, respectively). Worked as a post-doctoral Researcher at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2011). Currently works as an assistant professor at the University of Tsukuba, Japan. His research interests include Evolutionary Computing, Robotics, Applied optimization problems, Bioinformatics, Financial Engineering, Classification, visualization, and Artificial Life.
