Caroline Thais Martinho

graduate in Geology at University of São Paulo - USP (2001), Msc in Sedimentary Geology at University of São Paulo - USP (2004) and PhD at Coastal and Marine Geology at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2008). During her PhD., spent eight months at the Louisiana State University as a research assistant. She worked as Assistant Professor II at University of Brasília teaching Sedimentology (2008-2012). Worked as Assistant Professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), at the Institute of Petroleum and Natural Resources (IPR), where she coordinated the Sedimentology and Petrology Laboratory. She has experience Sedimentary Geology and Sedimentology, she is specialist in coastal geology, eolian dunefields, Quaternary sedimentary deposits, Quaternary paleoclimate and sedimentary facies. Nowadays she has been working with the themes: X-ray diffraction, Clay minerals, Unconventional resources (gas hidrates and shale gas). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
