Fernanda Maria Neri

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (1991), Master in Ecology, Conservation and Management of Wildlife from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1997), PhD in Ecology and Natural Resources from the Federal University of São Carlos (2004) and specialization in Environmental Management from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (August/2009 to July/2010) in partnership with the Brazil UNEP Institute. Work focused on Ecology, emphasizing medium and large mammals and primates in the Atlantic Forest and Cerrado; ability to use radiotelemetry techniques and capture some of the species studied to date: Callithrix penicillata, Callithrix aurita, Tayassu tajacu, Brachyteles hypoxanthus and Callicebus personatus (captures of the first three) in Cerrado and Atlantic Forest environments; Biological and ecological surveys and studies of mammal populations.
