Maira Taquiguthi Ribeiro

Maíra has a Master degree in Geography at the Territorial Development in Latin America and the Caribbean Graduate Program of the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (TerritoriAL/Unesp 2023), a specialization on Social and economic planning and territorial policies at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT, 2016) and has a bachelor's degree in Biology at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp, 2005). Since 2010, she works as an indigenist at the Brazilian federal agency for indigenous issues (Fundação Nacional dos Povos Indígenas - Funai). Her experience with indigenous communities, popular education, vegetal restoration, agroforestry systems and traditional, diversified and agroecological production. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
