Marizia do Amaral

Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Sagrado Coração in 1995, she followed her academic training with a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho in 1999 and a Doctorate in Functional and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas in 2003.Currently, he works as a Professor at the Centro Universitário Lusíada - UNILUS and at the Universidade do Oeste Paulista - UNOESTE, teaching undergraduate classes in Medical Sciences Courses with a focus on Physiology and Histology. With extensive experience in the areas of Physiology, Histology and General Biology, focusing especially on Neurophysiology, his research focuses on the Neurobiology of Learning, Memory and Behavior, in addition to investigations in Histopathology of Epilepsy.
