The works are foccused on: Molecular Yeast genetics - construction of stable recombinant strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Pichia pastoris; polyhydroxyakanoates (PHA); biorremediation of water containing heavy metals; and more recently with studies of the effects of graphene graphene and graphene-derived composites as antimicrobial (antibacterial and anti fungi) agents.
