Joao Vinicius Salgado

Graduation in Medicine from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Physiology and Pharmacology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, \ PhD in Neurosciences - Université Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg 1 and PhD in Psychobiology from the University of São Paulo. He is currently Associate Professor of the Department of Morphology of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He was a professor and professor of psychopharmacology at the Medical Residency in Psychiatry at the Raul Soares-FHEMIG Institute between 2004 and 2020. He has experience in neuroscience and psychiatry, working mainly on the following topics: cognition, schizophrenia, experimental models, cannabinoid system, inflammatory and immunological aspects in schizophrenia, lifestyle, neuropsychology and clinical psychiatry.
