He holds a degree in Physics from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (1993), a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos / University of São Paulo (1996), and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos / University of São Paulo (2001). Her complementary training includes research in atomic physics and lasers (UFPB) and specialization in nanoscience and nanotechnology (UFN). He currently develops teaching, research and extension activities at the Federal University of Sergipe. His experimental research in condensed matter physics involves the processing and characterization of New Materials [(nano, mono, micro, mini)crystals, ceramics and technological glasses], the study of (quasi)granular systems, and the study of radiation-matter interactions.
