Andreia Nalu Soares Hisi

Andreia completed her BSc in Physics in 2002 at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil, with a project in Particle Physics with emphasis on neutrino cosmology (Process Involving Weak Interaction and Their Implications in Astrophysics). In August 2002 she started her MSc in Atomic and Molecular Physics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, which she concluded in March 2006 with a thesis focused on the theoretical study of the positron and electron scattering on hydrogen molecules (Comparative Study of Vibracional Excitation of Hydrogen Molecules by Electron and Positron Impact). In August 2006 she started her PhD program in Dynamical Systems at UNICAMP, finished in February 2011 with a thesis entitled Population Dynamics in Ecological Networks: Persistence, Catastrophes and Extinctions. In March 2009 she joined the Laboratory of Advances Studies in Journalism (Labjor) UNICAMP starting a Master's Lato Sensu in Scientific Journalism, which she concluded in July 2010 with a thesis entitled The Perspective of Scientific Popularization in the Construction of a Sustainable Future.From the beginning of 2013 she is working as a Post Doc at the EPIcx with a fellowship from the Ciências Sem Fronteiras program.
