Holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (1999), a master's degree in Toxicology and Toxicological Analysis from the University of São Paulo (2003), a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at the State University of Campinas (2011), and a postdoctoral fellowship from the same institute (2011-2013). Recently, completed a postdoctoral fellowship (CAPES PRINT) with Dr. Pavel Kuban at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, maintaining collaborations in the field of sample preparation. Has experience in analytical chemistry, with a focus on chromatographic and electrophoretic separation techniques, as well as automation in sample preparation using solid-phase extraction (SPE). Was a pioneer in methods such as solid-phase electroextraction (E-SPE), matrix solid-phase electrodispersion (E-MSPD), multiphase electroextraction (MPEE), and electroextraction coupled to Paper-Spray-MS (MPEE-PS-MS). Additionally, developed a semi-automated SPE system with a level sensor based on optotransmissive switches. Authored dozens of scientific articles on various electroextraction methods, as well as more than a dozen patents filed and nearly ten patents granted. Published in renowned journals, including Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Science Technology (ACS), Talanta, and Journal of Chromatography A (Elsevier). Research focuses on the development and application of advanced devices and methods for sample preparation in complex matrices (e.g., food, biological fluids), followed by analysis using separation techniques such as CE, HPLC, UHPLC, and GC coupled to various detection systems.
