Manoel Orlando Alvarez Méndez

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (2002), master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2005) and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2014), both in the area of process engineering. He is currently researcher at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), professor of undergraduate courses in engineering from the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba and researcher at the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba. He has experience in Pore Characterization, Adsorption Process, Heat Transfer, Thermal and Thermodynamic processes, Computational Simulation of Chemical Process, and Design of process equipments, working mainly on the following themes: industrial chemical processes, thermodynamics of adsorption, heat transfer in porous media, activated carbon, characterisation of porous solids.
