Naval Engineer from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1991), with a Master's degree (1995) and PhD (1999) in Naval and Ocean Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo. His work primarily focuses on the following CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) topics: Discrete Vortex Method, Fractional Step Method, Flow Induced Vibration, Finite Element Method, Vortex Shedding, 2D and 3D flow. He has been a University Professor for Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, and Telecommunications Engineering courses since 2000, and for Mechanical Engineering courses since 2010. He was a Professor at the São Judas University from 2010 to 2020.He has been an executive at Autodesk since December 2024, with prior roles at Aspentech, General Electric, ESSS, and T-SYSTEMS. Currently, he is working as the Head of Compliance Brazil at Autodesk. He has experience with a portfolio of solutions spanning asset performance management, predictive analytics, digital twin, predictive maintenance, mechanical integrity, reliability, strategy, and diagnostics of critical asset integrity. Additionally, he has over 25 years in the CAE field, having helped implement this technology in more than 200 companies, understanding the process both from a technical and commercial perspective. He has a career of over 20 years as a university professor, always aiming to adapt the practical reality of the industry to the theoretical fundamentals necessary for the correct approach to challenges.
