Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from the University of São Paulo (1996) and a master's degree in Meteorology from the University of São Paulo (1999) in the area of #8203;#8203;Climatology and Dynamics. Since 2015, she is a civil servant and meteorologist of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), where she works in the Satellites and Meteorological Sensors Division of the General Coordination of Earth Sciences. Also in the public sector, between 2010 and 2014, she was a temporary employee of the INPE, working in Climate Forecasting, and between 2006 and 2010, she was a civil servant of the National Institute of Meteorology - INMET, acting in weather and climate forecasting, research and development. She has experience in operational meteorology, both in the public and private sectors. From 1999 to 2000, she worked as a meteorologist at the American company Weather Services International WSI, providing services to several television companies in Brazil. From 2000 to 2006, she was a CEOof WM7 Meteorologia Ltda, providing specialized meteorological consulting services to various sectors of society (agriculture, environment, oil, textile industry, construction, communications, sports and leisure). She participated as a consultant in the International Project for Modernization of the Hydrometeorological Monitoring and Forecasting System of the Venezuelan National Center in 2005.
