Martinna de Mendonça e Bertolini

Graduated as a Dentist (2008) at the Dental School of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (DS-UFRJ). Has Residence (2009) and Master degree (2011) in Dentistry (Concentration Area of Prosthodontics) at the Dental School of State University of Rio de Janeiro (DS-UERJ), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Daniel de Moraes Telles, with scholarship (CAPES) for the Master degree. Has a PhD degree (2015) in Clinical Dentistry (Concentration Area of Prosthodontics) at the Dental School of Piracicaba of Piracicaba (DS-UNICAMP), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Altair Antoninha Del Bel Cury. Held PhD Sandwich Internship Abroad (PDSE), in the CAPES program called Sciences Without Boarders, at the University of Connecticut Health Center through the period from September 2013 to September 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anna Dongari-Bagtzoglou. Received scholarship from FAPESP (PhD) and CAPES (PDSE), as well as a grant (FAPESP) for her phD project development. Postdoctoral Fellow at Uconn Health Center, has expertise in Dental Biofilm research, with emphasis on Candida biofilm and Streptococcus and its interaction with the host.
