Marcos Enoque Leite Lima

He holds a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the Santo André Foundation University Center (1999), a postgraduate degree in botany from the Federal University of Lavras (2007), a master's (2010) and a PhD (2015) in Plant Biodiversity and Environment from the Postgraduate Program in Plant Biodiversity and Environment of the Botany Institute of São Paulo, and a Business Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Vale ITV Technological Institute, Belém. He has experience in ecology, botany, and the biological activities of natural products. In Botany, he has developed work in Phanerogam Taxonomy and Plant Ecology, focusing mainly on the following topics: floristics, phytosociology, silvigenesis, and the dynamics, structure, and demography of plant populations and communities. He also has experience working on the antimicrobial activity of plants, particularly extracts and essential oils from Atlantic Forest and Cerrado species belonging to the Myrtaceae and Lauraceae families, among others. He has also developed research related to the pharmacology and toxicology of natural products. As a professor, he taught Botany (Taxonomy, Morphology, and Plant Physiology) at the Bragança Paulista Municipal Higher Education Foundation (FESB) in the Agronomy program. He worked at the Pará State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability (SEMAS) from 2018 to 2025, serving as an Environmental Technician (Biologist) assessing the biotic environment in Environmental Licensing processes within the Infrastructure Management (GEINFRA) of the Environmental Licensing Directorate of this Secretariat.
