Tatiana Duque Martins

Professor at the Federal University of Goiás, former Vice-Director of the Chemistry Institute - UFG, fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials - IAMM (since 2020) and alumna of the Global Young Academy - GYA (since 2013), she graduated in Chemistry at University of Campinas (1998), received her Master´s degree in 2001 and her PhD 2006, aslo at University of Campinas. She served as Coordinator of chemistry Bachelor courses of -UFG in the period 2012 to 2014. She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Campinas (2007), involving the modification of silicones and polyfluorenes to obtain new materials to apply in electroluminescent devices. Also, she conducted post doctorate research involving the morphological and structural study of peptide nanotubes at Federal University of ABC (2010). Her research interests are focused on the following topics: peptide nanotubes and their technological applications, development of organic materials and luminescent and electroluminescent hybrid for use in solar cells, sensors and electroluminescent devices, fluorescence spectroscopy, modification and synthesis of polymers, hybrid materials and study energy transfer processes between luminescent systems. Due to affiliation to GYA, she also works in interdisciplinary activities of interest to the progress of science as the inclusion of women in science (lead the working group Women in Science of GYA from 2014 to 2018), the evaluation of the methods of research assessment practiced in the world (she is a member of the working group optimizing assessment to career development of GYA) and integrity in academic activities ( she is integrant of the workgroup GYA and of the Integrity Committee in research, teaching and extension of UFG -2015).
