Luciana Rocha Barros Goncalves

Luciana Gonçalves holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1994), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1996), a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2001) and a Post-Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder (2021). She is a Full Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). He has experience in the area of Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Biochemical Processes, working mainly on the following topics: enzymatic processes and biocatalysis, immobilization of enzymes and heterogeneous biocatalysts, bioreactors and submerged fermentation, biofuels, and drugs. At the Federal University of Ceará, she has been the coordinator of the Undergraduate and Graduate courses in Chemical Engineering, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and vice provost of Research and Graduate Studies at UFC.
