Prof. Dr. Alessandra Lourenço Cecchini was vice-coordinator of the postgraduate program in Experimental Pathology at the State University of Londrina (Capes 7) from March 2022 to September 2024, and has a PQ-2 research productivity grant in call 09/2022. She is currently coordinator of the Ethics Committee for Research with Human Beings at UEL. She did a postdoctoral fellowship through the Postdoctoral Internship Program Abroad for Teachers - Araucária Foundation / CAPES in 2017, at Tufts University - Tufts Medical Center, Boston-USA. Master in Biochemistry (2000) from FMRP-USP, PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from FCFRP-USP (2004), and a PhD in Pharmacy from the Vollum Institute of the Health and Science University of Oregon - USA in 2002. She has been an adjunct professor at the State University of Londrina since 2005, in the area of #8203;#8203;Basic General Pathology. Her research is in the area of #8203;#8203;molecular pathology of cancer: (a) head and neck cancer; (b) breast cancer; (c) skin cancer; (d) thyroid cancer; (e) secondary hyperparathyroidism; (f) melanoma. Her line of research is based on the participation of reactive oxygen species and molecular signaling of cell death, growth modulation and resistance in cancer. He has collaborated with the Institute of Plasma Science and Technology (INP), ZIK plasmatic, Greifswald, Germany since 2018. He has an h-index of 25 and an i10 index of 47 and has over 2,000 citations according to Google Scholar. His publications have a modal A1 and an average impact index over the last 10 years of 4.07.
