José Eduardo Pécora Junior

Professor at the Department of General and Applied Administration at UFPR, is a Post Doctor (2020) from Université Laval, Ph.D. in Business Administration (2008) from the Department of Operations and Decision Systems at Université Laval in Canada, with a doctoral internship at Université de Technologie de Troyes (France), M.Sc. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the State University of Campinas (2002) and B.Sc. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the State University of Campinas (1998). He is currently a professor and researcher of the Stricto Sensu PPGs in Numerical Methods in Engineering (PPGMNE) and Management of Organizations, Leadership and Decision (PPGOLD), at the Federal University of Paraná. Where he held the positions of coordinator of the Lato Sensu Programs, coordinator of Undergraduate Business Administration and is currently coordinator of PPGOLD. At the Hospital de Clínicas of UFPR he held the position of Chief of the Surgical Center. He is a researcher collaborator member of CIRRELT, Centre Interuniversitaire de Recherche sur les Reseaux d'Entreprise, la Logistique et le Transport. He is responsible for the implementation and coordination of the laboratory LINCI - Laboratory of Innovation for Smart Cities financed by FINEP. He has solid experience in human resources attraction and execution of applied research projects, directly contributing to the increase of competitiveness of the Brazilian industry. He is currently supervising 14 master's students and 1 doctoral student. He has published 29 articles in periodicals and 55 papers in annals of events, 6 books or book chapters, besides having more than 60 assets of technical production. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
