Professor Azauri is an electrical/electronics engineer (1977) from the School of Engineering of São Carlos (EESC), University of São Paulo (USP), Master in Electrical Engineering (1984) by EESC / USP and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (1991) from the Polytechnic School - USP. He is coordinator of the Power Electronics and Control Laboratory (LACEP) of the Electrical and Computer Engineering in EESC-USP. He is a professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, EESC / USP since 1978. Their areas of interest are power electronics, drive and control of electrical machines and electrical engineering education.
