Loretti Portofe de Mello

Graduated in Biological Sciences at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1977), Specialization in Urban Environmental Geography, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1990), Doctor Degree in Geography (Physical Geography) at the University of São Paulo (1998) and post-doc in Ecology at the University of São Paulo (2003). Serves as multidisciplinary team coordination for environmental works. She has been Director of Environment at the company Omega Energia for 4 years, performing the management of activities of the environmental team. She has experience in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Environmental Management, acting on the following topics: environmental management, planning tools, environmental impact assessment (EIA-RIMA), environmental conservation units and land use, environmental due diligence, managing energy ventures. She has academic experience, teaching courses in Environmental Studies, Environmental Management and Assessment of Environmental Impacts in various postgraduate courses.
