Graduated in History from the University of São Paulo (1999), Master in Social History from the University of São Paulo (2004) and Doctor in Social History from the University of São Paulo (2011). His research is focused on the history of Imperial Germany between the 8th and 14th centuries, as well as on the intermingling of Germanic history with that of other European regions (notably England and the Norman-Sicilian Kingdom) and that of the Crusades, in addition to the uses Medievalism and Neomedievalism. He has experience in the area of History, with an emphasis on Ancient and Medieval History, acting mainly on the following themes: sources and documents, Germanic History, History of Political Culture and Military History and, currently, he is Tenured Professor of Medieval History at UNIMONTES - Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros (MG), permanent lecturer at PPGH / UNIMONTES and supervisor at GEHM - Study Group on Medieval History at the same university.
