Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2004), with a Master's degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA (2007), focused on Control of Dynamic Systems, and a Ph.D. from the Universidade de Brasília - UnB (2014) in Hybrid Dynamic Systems Identification. From 2006 to 2009, he worked as an Analyst and Researcher at Tecumseh do Brasil in São Carlos-SP, where he led projects developing single-phase induction electric motors for hermetic refrigeration compressors. He is an Associate Professor II at the Universidade de Brasília - UnB Gama Campus and a Graduate Program in Mechatronic Systems (PPMEC) permanent member. His research focuses on modeling and identifying dynamic systems and predictive control (MPC), with applications in aerospace, automotive, and nonlinear and multivariable systems. A specialist in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) simulations, and Model-Based Design methodology, he develops projects in advanced control systems and Lithium-Ion battery management. He has a significant track record in coordinating research projects in predictive control, nonlinear systems, battery management, and aerospace systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
