graduation at Quimica from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1973), master's at Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1977) and doctorate at Chemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1981). Has experience in Chemistry, focusing on Spectroscopy, acting on the following subjects: polymers, photochemistry and organic electronics. In addition has experiences in university administration and in institucional evaluation.
