Rafael Salomão earned his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil). He is lecturer and researcher at Materials Engineering Department of São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (https://eesc.usp.br/en/, SMM/EESC/USP).
