Alexandre Grezzi de Miranda Schmidt

He holds a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Paraná (1996), a Master's degree in Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics of UNESP (1998) and a PhD in Physics from the Institute of Theoretical Physics of UNESP (2002). For 3 years (2002-2005) he was postdoc in the Physics department at UFPR. He is full professor at the Fluminense Federal University. He has experience in Physics, with emphasis on General Theory of Particles and Fields, Quantum Mechanics, Systems with position-dependent mass, exact solutions of Schrodinger, Pauli, Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations on curved surfaces; analog models for gravitacional systems; exact solutions of the Lippmann-Schwinger equation in N spatial dimensions and in non-Euclidean spaces; and, Heun's differential equation.
